Modern day dancers perform at the Royal palace
On the grounds of the Royal Temple in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, is the Silver Pagoda. The standing Buddha in the foreground was cast from 190 pounds of gold. The floor is tiled with silver. The traditional architecture features tiered spires and stylized serpents (nagas) trimming the yellow tiled roofs. The cluster to the left are the Royal Ballet and Reception halls.
The Throne Hall is reserved for coronations. These crowns and swords are reserved for occasions of state.
